Anca Munteanu Rimnic. Artist.
“I don’t see myself as an artist; I’m more of an observer, a sculptor-observer. I’m often overwhelmed by the task of capturing what I see, am afraid of aha effects and magnificent ideas of my own. The feeling of being rootless and a foreigner wherever I am, in combination with my persistent yearning to see distant places, inner strife, insecurity, and extreme longings, often makes it difficult for me to do the work that I would never do if it weren’t for these states of mind,” Munteanu Rimnic says of herself.
